Timberline Preview… More coming soon.

Well, we’re up in Portland for a while and I thought I’d post a few shots from tonight as I’m backing everything up.  We had a very small, intimate wedding today at Timberline Lodge on Mt. Hood.  As the sun was going down we hopped in a Snowcat and went as high as you can go on the mountain (without climbing it, of course.)  It was absolutely unbelievable watching the sun set from over 8,000 feet!  Not to mention getting to photograph two amazing people at the same time.  I’ll be posting a bunch more from their wedding in a few weeks so check back soon!

Playing with textures… And the Ridlon Family.

I’m sure I’m the last photographer to get a pack of textures, but I thought I’d finally try some out.  I really like the old, scratched up, discolored effect.  I also thought I’d try them out on our good friends, Melissa, Adam and Brenner.  We went to Shevlin Park to hang out and take a few shots of them for their Christmas cards.

A much needed trip to Cannon Beach

What a great week…  A little house on the beach, summer-like weather and nothing to do but relax.  We spent a week out at Cannon Beach and pretty much just enjoyed being a family.  It was a much needed vacation.  Here are a handful of shots from the trip.

Nancy & Simon – McMenamins in Bend, Oregon

Nancy and Simon are the kind of people that when you meet for the first time, you feel like you’ve known them forever. They chose the beautiful St. Francis McMenamins for their wedding and it was just a perfect day. Here are some of our favorites.

Elina & Tom – Sunriver, Oregon

Elina and Tom were just fantastic!  They honestly made us feel like guests at their wedding.  The weather in Central Oregon doesn’t get any better either.  All we can say is thank you Elina and Tom!!

Ryland & Amy

What a wedding…  We were lucky enough to spend the entire weekend with Ryland and Amy and all of their friends and family.  Perfect weather, hot springs, fantastic people, and a nice change of scenery.  I’m posting a few more photos for this one but I just had to show how much fun we had with them.
